My name is Mary Martin and I am 16 years old. My interests are to do arts and things like that. Like to paint and to make things. My academic goals are to go to collage and hopefully to work in the hospital . I find it interesting to learn about new words in English, but not to be tested on them. When I understand how to do it I like to learn about math because its fun to play with the numbers. I learn a lot around my dad because he does a lot of things like working on cars, fixing things, so when I’m around him I learn how to do these things. When I was around my dad I learned how to fix things. I learn best when I am taught probably in school because other times I don’t feel like doing anything academic like math or anything because I just feel like relaxing. But sometimes after school I read so that’s considered learning. I have read one international book and it was called My Bloody Life. He was born in Puerto Rico. But I read another book and it was called Always Running and the book took place in L.A. I would like to change my laziness because I don’t do all of my work and don’t always come to school; but I am trying.
A profolio is a lot of work all put together for a final result. it is a final draft of your best pieces A digital portfolio is a portfolio put onto the internet or electronically done. This piece of work shows the strongest pieces that we have done this year in an organized page that shows are thoughts of completing the work. It also gives our point of views to describe were if we were confused. I think we should continue to create digital portfolio’s and work electronically because it will show our best work and how we have improved and evolved in our writing. This will show our teachers were we started from in our writing and our knowledge to were we have improved over the years. Also how my writing is now and showing my best work so the teachers know what I am capable of. The interview shows my knowledge of that piece and is proof I know how to do things we are not regularly asked. Skills that I think that I should work on are my writing skills and my organization skills. This is because when I write it’s hard for me to get all of the information in order.
